Day wise travel itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Venice

Arrive at Venice Airport and make your way to the hotel for check-in (standard check-in time is 2:00 PM). Venice is one of Italy’s most enchanting destinations, famous for its waterways, historic bridges, elegant palaces, beautiful churches, and charming narrow lanes. The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you time to begin exploring the city at your own pace. You may also choose to join an optional excursion to the islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello.

Day 2: Venice

After breakfast, set out to discover the highlights of Venice on a guided walking tour. Explore the famous squares and historic landmarks while learning about the fascinating past of the Venetian Republic. Visit the magnificent Doge’s Palace, once the seat of the Doge and the center of political life in Venice.

Continue through the atmospheric calli (narrow streets) and campi (squares), discovering lesser-known treasures such as Santa Maria Formosa Square and the Church of SS. Giovanni e Paolo. Walk towards the iconic Rialto Bridge and explore the traditional market area, which historically played an important role in Venice’s commercial life.

Later, you may choose to enjoy an optional gondola ride through Venice’s picturesque canals. Return to your hotel independently after your sightseeing.

Day 3: Venice – Dolomites

Today, leave Venice and travel by bus towards the spectacular Dolomites. Located in the Italian Alps near the Austrian border, the Dolomites are renowned for their dramatic mountain landscapes, charming alpine villages, and world-class ski resorts. During the warmer months, the region becomes an ideal destination for nature lovers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Dolomites – Lago di Braies

Today, enjoy an optional excursion to the stunning Lago di Braies, one of the most picturesque lakes in the Dolomites and part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dolomite region. Surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, the lake is known for its crystal-clear blue-green waters and serene alpine setting.

Take some time to admire the scenery, walk along the lakeside trails, or opt for a relaxing boat ride on the lake. Hiking enthusiasts can also explore the paths around Lago di Braies.

Return to the Dolomites after your excursion.

Day 5: Dolomites – Seceda

Today, you may opt for a day excursion to Seceda, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Val Gardena region, located above the town of Ortisei. The distinctive ridgeline and dramatic mountain formations make Seceda one of the most photographed landscapes in the Dolomites.

Ride the cable car up to the mountain area and take a walk towards the famous Seceda viewpoint. Those looking for more adventure can explore some of the hiking trails across the mountain.

Day 6: Dolomites – Verona

Today, depart the Dolomites by bus and continue to Verona, a beautiful Italian city steeped in history and romance. Best known around the world as the setting associated with Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Verona is also filled with historic architecture, charming streets, lively squares, and impressive viewpoints.

In the evening, take a walk or hike up to Castel San Pietro and enjoy panoramic views of Verona as the sun sets over the city.

Day 7: Lake Garda Excursion

This evening, explore Milan’s city center and the lively Navigli district at your own pace. Alternatively, you may opt for a visit to Leonardo da Vinci’s celebrated The Last Supper, offering an opportunity to see one of the world’s most renowned masterpieces.

Day 9: Milan

After breakfast, discover Milan aboard a convenient hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus. Enjoy panoramic views of the city while learning about its history, culture, architecture, and modern identity through the onboard audio commentary.
